From the Middle Earth to Mordor.

Have you ever live with a friend or a sibling and could not help yourself but wonder why are they being so blissfully weird? One huge probability is that he/she might be a middle child. They said that middle children are introverted, quieter and a bit loner but I don't know I knew some of them are having totally the opposite character.

I am not having anything against any middle child. In fact, after Haziq came into this world , I automatically became one of the middle children too but I guess after having 11years of living as the last child in the family, my symptoms are quite mild or I might  just be asymptomatic. But honestly, I did some reading about middle child syndrome and I could not help noticing the comments below. Most of it were rants of all the middle children who seems to think that their parents did not love them enough though their achievements are far more superior than their other siblings. The first child always get praised more and the last will always be the spoiled one or just a brat. And I am not talking about the angsty teenagers' rants but grown up men and women with their own kids. To me that is just like "Woooowww.. I never knew it could be this serious" Should parents give more attention to the middle ones or the middle ones should stop thinking too much of being unloved?

I do have my fair share of experience. Heheh.. I have few of my friends "the middle child"  who also complained about more or less the same things. I couldn't say much since I did not know their family that well to say things that I should or should not say. I talked about this with my sister and we think we found the ultimate solution. Do not have only 3 kids. Since the one in the middle will feel he/she will be left alone since they think that the attention of the parents already diverted to the first and the last child. And to prevent that, have more middle children in the family! They can gang up or team up against their parents and bully the first and the last child. HAHA

Anyway, 12th of August is The Middle Child Day. See middle children, everyone is trying to make you happy. Everybody loves you. You even get your own day! Be proud of that okay.
There are some good traits that are exhibited by middle children. These children grow up to be more independent and are born mediators and negotiators. They also tend to "go their own way" when dealing with established ideas. They are innovators and thinkers. Some famous middle children include J.F.K., Madonna, Donald Trump, Barbara Walters, and Bill Gates. Each of these people is an example of just how successful middle children can become with a little extra encouragement from their parents.
Joe Jonas is a middle child too. Well that explains a lot..

and to my sister the middle child, I love you! =P

My exam ends on the 25th. May Allah ease us and grant us success! Amin.

last for this year.

Signs of a hypocrite

when he speaks, he lies
when he is being argued with, he explodes
whenever he is being entrusted with something, he violates that trust
whenever he promises, he goes back on his promise

khutbah ari jumat. hoho..Just something to ponder on actually.

Anyway, my final exam for finally to finish my second year which is like forever, is just 9 days away. I slept for 10 hours straight last night and woke up scared and panicking. Lol.

I will be celebrating my New Year of 2012 with books and a mug of hot tea to accompany me, and of course, with the sound of fireworks that will be lighted up by my neighbours.

and again, my thousands apology to you and may I along with my fellow friends pass our second year..umm.. gracefully.

Malaysia.

Instead of educating the youngsters, blame is put on them. Threats are being made. Yet, questions are being asked on how this generation is going to lead and teach the future generations, when actually the old ones are not doing their responsibility. Responsibility to show the young what is wrong and what is right. why is it wrong and why is it right. what should we do when we are in the wrong and the actions to take when we are in the right.

but sadly, kena tumbuk dan ludah. Haih.

Small things are considered big and the big things are considered small.

As Professor Hubert J. Fansworth said "I don't want to live in this planet anymore".

being grateful

(Al Baqarah : 216)

Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.

A splendid weather.

Well hello there.

It has been a while it seems. You know when every time you are facing difficulties there will always be a point where you really can not take it anymore and say screw it. I will not care anymore.

I have been there
again and again.

See.. I am not the brightest of all students. I need time to study and even that, I fail to memorise or comprehend what I have been reading. I know, that in this profession I am learning to be, persistence is what I need but it is so hard to concentrate. It is not me to read books everyday. I don't even read story books with that consistency. It is not me to always talk about medical stuff. It is not me to spontaneously answer questions thrown at me. My brain lacks in the speed of processing I guess. I sometimes doubt myself what really am I doing here really. Well if you have never ever question yourself  with what are doing right now well then good for you. I have doubted myself and have been feeling what a let down I am when I failed a paper. when I failed to answer a simple question. when people succeed making me feel like a complete loser just because I am not able to deliver an excellent answer.

but again and again,

having a good friend saying it's OK. we have all been there. you'll be good.
having a family saying things will get better. it will not always be like this. we love you.
having a complete stranger saying i pray to god you will be an excellent doctor that will be able to serve your country, your religion and your community.

is a comfort of some sort.

I hope I will be able to realize that I am lucky to have this opportunity and stop second guessing myself.

Salaam Maal Hijrah everyone.

ekjem ekjem.

What is love?
"What is love - we cannot talk about that.
What is not love - we can talk about. Love is not attachment, love is not
possession, love is not controlling somebody, love is not making use of
somebody, and love is not all that you conceive of. You cannot know love
but you can experience love.
The only thing that we can say is that it is unconditional. If you love
somebody just because somebody is good looking, somebody is wealthy or
popular or this or that, obviously that is not love. But if you're not able
to give any reason at all, then probably you have discovered love. That
love is unconditional and such love is not an imaginary love.
Thousands of people have discovered it and you can discover it. That is the
purpose of human existence. Otherwise life is worthless.
If you do anything to increase the love in you, you will never discover
love. If you could realize there is nothing you could do about it, that is
the beginning of love. In spirituality (in the internal world) the moment
you realize there is nothing you could do about it, that is the moment it
happens. As long as you keep trying, you will never ever get there.
Because that trying (in the internal world - not in the external world) is
the problem. That trying is the thing which takes you away from me.
When all seeking has stopped what is there is unconditional love.
This is what Dad mailed us, miles away. Anyway, I love you too papito.

Esok raya..

It's Eid tomorrow.

I hope Mum and Dad are doing great over there. I hope my sisters and my little brother are doing OK at home without my parents to fuss over them. I sure do miss them so much. Since exam mood is kicking in again, everything looks very much enticing. A stupid gibberish article attracted me way more than reading medical books right now. Do you know that chewing too much sugar-free gum can cause chronic diarrhoea? Yeah.. I am that much of being distracted..

Anyway

Eid Mubarak people! Have a good one and may Allah bless!
